Per Stig Møller
Born 1942 in Denmark. Son of former Minister for Finance Poul Møller and journalist Lis Møller (both former MPs). Ph.D. (Comparative Literature) 1973.
Lecturer at the Sorbonne, Paris, 1974-1976.
Chief of Programmes Radio Denmark, 1979-1984.
Member of the Danish Parliament for the Conservative Party since 1984.
Member of the Council of Europe, 1987-1990, 1994-1997, 1998-2001.
Minister for the Environment, 1990-1993.
Chairman of the Danish Conservative Party, 1997-1998.
Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark since 2001.
Author of several books on history, literature and current international affairs.
Recipient of a number of awards and orders, including:
